Gardendale Pet Clinic is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Gardendale Alabama. The professional and courteous staff at Gardendale Pet Clinic strive to provide your pet with the best possible medical, surgical, dental care and preventive medicine. We also offer walk-in emergency services during normal business hours.

    Heather Entrekin

    Dr. Heather Entrekin is a graduate of the University of South Alabama in biomedical sciences. She attended Auburn University of Veterinary Medicine. Her interest are in Internal Medicine, Behavioral Therapy, and Geriatric Medicine. She enjoys spending time with her family when she is not practicing medicine.

    Melissa Thompson

    Dr. Melissa Thompson is on her second career.  After working in corporate America in a small cubicle she decided to chase her dream of being a Veterinarian and went back to school.  She is a 2010 graduate of Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine.  After several years of opening clinics across the SE and a 4 year stint of being a Mixed Animal Veterinarian she has set down roots in Alabama.

    Dr. Thompson is the founder and current owner of Gardendale Pet Clinic. Dr Thompson is a 1975 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced along side his father for many years before opening Gardendale Pet Clinic in 1986. He enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with his children and grandchildren when not practicing medicine.
