Dr. Melissa Thompson is on her second career. After working in corporate America in a small cubicle she decided to chase her dream of being a Veterinarian and went back to school. She is a 2010 graduate of Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine. After several years of opening clinics across the SE and a 4 year stint of being a Mixed Animal Veterinarian she has set down roots in Alabama.
She is a welcome addition to Gardendale Pet Clinic as she not only loves working on cats and dogs but also your pocket pets and other exotic animals. Please call the clinic to make any appointments for your exotic animals. When she is not busy in the office she is taking care of her newborn and enjoying every minute of watching him grow up.
