Gardendale Pet Clinic is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Gardendale Alabama.     Dr. Melissa Thompson

    Dr. Melissa Thompson is on her second career.  After working in corporate America in a small cubicle she decided to chase her dream of being a Veterinarian and went back to school.  She is a 2010 graduate of Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine.  After several years of opening clinics across the SE and a 4 year stint of being a Mixed Animal Veterinarian she has set down roots in Alabama.

    Dr. Thompson is the founder and current owner of Gardendale Pet Clinic. Dr Thompson is a 1975 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced along side his father for many years before opening Gardendale Pet Clinic in 1986. He enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with his children and grandchildren when not practicing medicine.
